Prof. Hitendra Wadhwa is the founder of the Institute for Personal Leadership (IPL), a program which helps organizations develop their leaders, build high-performance teams, and transform their culture in today’s digital age.
IPL’s work fuses the latest scientific findings on human nature with ancient wisdom from the world’s contemplative traditions. Since 1999, Hitendra has been a serial entrepreneur in the digital space, and IPL’s Mentora platform is at the forefront of offering organizations a scalable, measurable and sustainable approach to leadership training.
Hitendra is also a professor at Columbia Business School where he teaches the most popular leadership course: Personal Leadership & Success.
He has won the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence at Columbia, and in collaboration with the Business School, he has launched a number of innovative executive education programs on:

Hitendra was also a TED Talks speaker and was recently honored with a cover article in Psychology Today, entitled “Can One Man Save American Business? The Asset that CEO’s Need Most”.
